Paul and Alex, two 23-year-old childhood friends, have always shared a passion for fashion. During their business studies, they discovered that trendy clothes were often unaffordable for young people: either too expensive, or of poor quality. In January 2024, they decided to take matters into their own hands and create their own brand, The Hoozys. Our mission? To offer stylish, accessible and sustainable clothing.
Frustrated by low-cost retailers like Shein who rely on unsustainable materials, or by big brands that are often unaffordable, Paul and Alex set out on a real adventure. They still remember their early days: the endless search to find a workshop that would respect their vision. One anecdote comes to mind: a supplier gave them samples with sloppy seams and fabrics that shrank with the first wash.
After months of perseverance, they finally worked with a workshop that shared their quality standards. In May 2024, The Hoozys will launch its first collection of minimalist sweatshirts and sweatpants designed to last while remaining affordable. Their philosophy is simple: allow everyone to dress in style without breaking the budget.
